Maryanne has garnered world acclaim as a performer and educator throughout USA, Europe and Asia. She performs with the NW Mahler Orchestra and Seattle Philharmonic Orchestras serving as principal. She has toured with Phantom and West Side Story throughout Europe.
A student of Harold Wright, Attilio Poto, Peter Hadcock and Anthony Gigliotti, she has mastered a unique warm beautiful lush tone (which Maryanne attributes to her new set of Tosca's). All her clarinets have been customized for her personally through Lohff & Pfeiffer based in Copenhagen. From the Eb down to the Bass, Maryanne's effortless style and striking stage presence blends well for educational workshops and clinics.
Maryanne received her degrees both Bachelor and Masters Degree in Clarinet Performance from Boston Conservatory and New England Conservatory.
In December 2008, she performed a debut concert at Merkin Hall with a world premiere performance of John A Rose's work entitled "Buson's Ballet" with the composer at the piano. This was met with outstanding reviews.
March of this year, Maryanne with be recording with "Trio di Buson" featuring works by D'Indy, Mendelssohn and Rose under a major Swiss record label.
Maryanne is always looking for new performance ideas and concepts for unique concerts.
