Byran “B.Y.” Culp The world of Hip-Hop has encouraged yet another artist to come forth and bring forth a passion of music. An artist that is bringing forth an impact of a new age of rap which we thought was dying. The artist that is being presented to you is none other than Byran “B.Y.” Culp. Born in Rock Hill, SC where Byran is a native of, he became introduced to the world of rap about a year ago. He was one day sitting around watching some friends and listening to the way that flow and started to interact. He then took the time to start writing his lyrics and bringing forth his writing into a flow of music. Byran gives much of his influence to his grandmother Pearl Welch. She encouraged him to do and be whatever it is that he wanted to be. She supported him as he went into his concept of the music world. She was there for him when no one else was there for him and raised him into the fine young man he is today. B.Y. is what he likes to be called because it gives him the definition of wanting to be different. He wants to be able to reach millions by any means possible, but not by introducing gangsta rap. He is introducing a dynamic atmosphere of rap that makes you think and to encourage. B.Y. stresses his motto to everyone “If you ain’t EARLY you late.”
