Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Gilbon Court, an inner city project, along side three brothers and a sister is where Rodriquez"Riquez" Rose begain to develope his charater as a young man and an artist. The huge epicdemic of crack cocain back in the mid 80s destroyed hundreds of lives and families. At a very young age Riquez was subject to seeing and experiencing things the adverage seven year old would'nt have. Consequently, "Riquez" mom dies of an drug overdose, leaving behind him and his three siblings. 1989, he then moved to South Side of town to live with his relatives, his mother's sisters and brothers. While auntie did her best, working twelve hour shifts, seven days a weeks, she would struggle to raise them into lagitimate men. By the time the "Rose Boys" was teenagers auntie had washed her hands with them, their sister stayed and went on with a successful and fruitful life. Parting ways before adult hood Riquez became an orphan and was placed in foster care and group homes,today all three of his brothers are doing jail time, two with life, but by the grace of God the good lord has kept his hands on Riquez and through the holly spirt and his God given talents he will testify using his music to impower others.
