Jay Kalii a.k.a James Kalamar is coming to you straight outta Buffalo, NY and his passion and enthusiasm for music has driven him to begin recording and trying to make something of himself. Coming from both the urban area of NY as well as the suburbs, Jay possesses a diverse and worldly mind that shows in his writing. Also with as a current college student, Jay is gaining an education first as well as evolving as an artist, in the effort of making his dream a reality . He first began writing in 2000, and has since grown as a writer, an artist, and a man. He often works with his partners in crime Cram(forming Unidentical), Likewize, DStatus, TC and Breanna as they all tell their own unique stories, with different styles, while still maintaining the same goal of diving headfirst in the music world. While early in the game, his potential is endless and he values just being heard and getting feedback because he knows the fame and fortune is only half of what success really means. He is currently working on finalizing and pushing his anticipated debut album and demo. Kali looks to stack up to some of the industry's best and bring a fresh sound and voice to the game . He knows he has proved tremendously in the last year, but still has room to grow as an artist. he has learned from past mistakes and is motivated by any doubter and hater that comes his way. J.
