a.k.a Ashle’ Ki’Jera Stephens. Was born on march 10,1993 in Inglewood, California. A.K.S Money is the eldest of three sisters(Courtnei and Brooklyn). A.K.S Money’s mother, Rolisha, moved to Bellwood, Illinois when A.K.S Money was three years old. Around the age of nine; is where she first gained a curiosity for music. Around this time A.K.S Money developed a genuine interest in hip hop. A.K.S Money attributes her love of music to such artists as: MC Lyte ,Missy Elliot ,and Yo-Yo. While in school, A.K.S Money excelled in all of her writing classes. So she decided to put her passion for music and her writing skills together to create art. OMG! What a combination. Her experiences in life as a young lady are revealed through her music. A.K.S Money has been blessed with talent that gives her the ability to put what around her into words. Once she taps into her innermost feelings, she comes up with an endless supply of material. One only has to listen to her words and realize that she is remarkable. A.K.S Money is described as a versatile rapper who attacks any and all subjects with a vengeance. She is a great storyteller, and that’s what hip hop is all about to A.K.S Money; a story that needs to be told with music behind it. A.K.S Money’s lyrics will strike a nerve in the young and the old. A.K.S Money is a person who stays on the grind and is constantly creating more and more songs. A.K.S Money continues to enhance her musical talents by working with other local artist and producers.
