People who know me for a longer time, call me Bear. ( in Dutch "Beer, short for Berend)
I have been making music since I was five years old. My first selfwritten lyric was:" we are still alive, we are still alive, that's a miracle, it really is," referring to the fact that my father went in and out hospitals when I was young. I still marvel at the wonder of life. And at the fact that I am still part of it.
I have been a lead singer in many promising bands, but never made a full career out of it, probably because i was too lazy and too arrogant and did not put in the amount of work needed.
For the last ten years or more, I was a member of the RIAGGS, a peculiar band that wondered around in Zoo's, pestering drummers and drinking lots of Palm beer.
