Life's Good
Oct 28, 2009
Just turned 40, and I anm doing more with music then ever before. I always knew that I would continue to play and jam a little but now taking it a little more serious tring to make an Album. Time is still so limmited with mydelf, day job, wife, kids, etc. as well as the members time. We are going slow and keeping it fun. We try to accomplish at least one thing everytime we get together but latly it's been practicing for a gig. We've had 5 gigs so far this year and hope to have a few more. Last one our guitar player was sick,, puking sick but still made the stage. Only had to leave once to puke somemore. My Guitar string broke 2nd song. went on later than expected so the time to throw a few back was more then we needed. Not to mention it was a friday and some members were up at 4:00am for their day jobs. Man.. feeling good though. The rush, anticioation, excitment, performing there is nothing like it. Life's Good

Hey! Missing you on the Boss forum. Hope life and music is treating you well. All the best, Tim.
p.s. Yes... the live recordings were all done on the micro (line in)from the venue mixing desk. It makes a good quality recording, but misses the audience ambience, as it only picks up the room noise through the mic I'm singing into.

Your first message! I love the dreamy psychedelic sound of 'Thoughts'. Keep working that BR Micro!
Hey Mike! Just checking in to say 'hi'. I hope 2010 has started well for you, and that the music is flowing. I finally got a job, which means less guitar time but gives me enough money to survive. Shame you can't have both in this life! Anyway, I hope the Double X boys are still rocking. I should have a pod cast coming out soon of a local radio session I did. Will let you know when it comes out. All the best my friend, Tim.
