life in nebraska...winter's on the way....got our first good cold snap...this pic is actually from last winter, but you get the idea.. I've been meaning to spend a little more time here, checking out new music, but time has just not been on my side...and I jacked up a part on my van which means I'm playing backyard mechanic...and poorly.. ash and I have been working on a bunch of new tunes...we plan to start recording as soon as I get the van up, so I can run some stuff from murdock to omaha to the new house of rain and sand, our home base and nest... If I was in florida, I would have roxanne produce it, but since I'm here, I'll take it on myself for the now, I know a few producers here that I might have do the work, although given time, I can do a fair job with the upgrades I've added to my studio , and the "who's gonna care" mix is no example, those base tracks were started on a computer by someone else, and I had to finish by adding parts to a stereo mix that I didn't have access to the individual tracks, some of the others on our playlist here were as I added a piece here and there to my maze of cables but the new stuff will be much more professional anyway, just wanted to check in for a bit, I'll be back soon! peace n love, george from platte river rain

just ran into soundclick by accident, that pic is from our first official gig at the incognito lounge, I remember it well, it will live in the history of my soul, it's actually jake russel in the pic with ash and I, not benny, jake would often whistle birdsong for us on the "birds on a billboad" song, since I couldn't convince the birds in my backyard to follow us, and sing on cue
