Yes actually April 17th 2009 I had my 1st performance at a club called TOC BAR in Houston, TX with a group called " Live Evil Click, but now I am solo working on different projects & crossovers to spanish music. I am very versatile with my music I love it all.....theres no better home than the stage....any stage....it don't matter if its 10 or 1000 people there watchin me perform because all you gotta do is get to one person... How do you feel about Myspace, Reverbnation, Facebook, exc to promote music? Its a very effective marketing tool..it allows you to display your music all over without sending CDs everywhere and OMG it has really helped getting me heard nationwide. Would you sign a record contract with a major label? it depends really....I'm not an industry slave nor will I ever be....I do music because its whats in my heart and what I believe in...If a major label lets me make the music I like then we can talk business... Your influences? Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Keyshia Cole, Selena, Jennifer Pena and female Divas A.K.A go Gettas and very well known. Favorite spot? Miami, FL I must say was the best place I lived in, but things changed and I had to move to Houston and I love HOUSTON now. ANGELA THE CUBAN DIVA'S PROFILE I am all about my music, and my music is all about me. It flows from what I've been through, what I've seen and how I feel. I'm a Cuban chic and I have 2 kids a boy and a girl. I live in HOUSTON TX and I am on the RISE. Been here since 1991 and I love this city. I came from Miami, Fl and I love that city but too many memories to live there again. I love my life here in Houston, TX But, my path has not been easy. When I was 15, I left home. It was my decision and I've never looked back. Left my hood where I grew up. Left a good family. Left and learned what it was like to have everything, and lose it, again and again. Learned what it was like to wake up one day and have the people you care about gone (my mother) R.I.P. I have been alone, lost and very confused full of struggles. I have been broke and homeless. But, I survived, with some help of my family and a few close friends. I am here, in Houston, TX because of my father living here when my mother passed away. I've always been inspired by Alicia Keys. My sisters have always told me I could sing and should do something about it that I came out talented like my father for a reason and that reason is to keep it in the family for generations. My son is now also very talented loves to dance and sing as well and my daughter can dance too. I spent the first two years getting to know the music scene, networking in clubs and gotten to meet a lot of people. Now it's all about my music and opening doors for my kid's dreams as well. It's all about expressing me. I can sit here now, and knowingly tell you that life's hard sometimes. But, I made it this far and won't stop. I'm still here and I love who I am. If I never went through the hard times, I would not be able to appreciate the good ones. I have experienced just how hard it can be. I can honestly tell you to never dwell on the past, but build from it and keep moving forward. Don't let ANYONE hold you back or tell you that you can't because you CAN. I didn't and here I am, just listen to it. It's really about trust, something my past has made very difficult for me to feel. My music coming soon will be so versatile I don't naturally rap I sing, but the sky has no limits and you will soon see what I bring.
