I got here through a rediscovery of the peguesproject. This is sophisticated poetic, head-bopping, neck-working funk merged with fluid jazz and complex, meaningful lyrics and gritty vocals. Pegues is a monster pianist. The musicianship here is fine all around. So exciting to run into this work. I need the whole CD!
