It?s been a busy start of 2010 for John Ford! After redecorating his studio, John picked up on the post-production of Resurrected album which began as a "Best of ..." his Solo albums of the past decade and tweaking the running order, only to find his songwriting itch needed to be scratched. So now, along with the original tracks and some previously unreleased bonus tracks, comes what appears to be a new title track ? ?Resurrected.? John has also has a new baby ?or should say instrument ? the ukulele! Yes, folks! You heard right! For all his hankering, John got himself a ?baby? guitar,? a lovely mahogany Fender Electric Pa?ina Ukulele. Pa?ina is Hawaiian for ?party? and he?s certainly having a party with it, all right, as he whisks around strumming the chords and singing ?Part of the Union,? amongst other things. Most likely, you?ll be hearing John?s ukulele on upcoming releases and live performances. Speaking of which will be soon, along with the addition of new bandmembers. On yet another area, John has started working with Ian Lloyd of Stories on a new collaboration. The pair along with Ian?s son, David Lloyd, have started recording some new tracks and Beatles songs, as well. While it?s just getting off the ground, early beginnings sound fabulous! So that?s something to look forward to in the not to distant future to be sure! Both John Ford and Ian Lloyd will be making appearances in March an IBS 2010 Radio Conference in NYC and later this Summer in late July, for Celebrity Meet & Greet at ROCKCON ? Rock n Roll Convention in NJ, where they will also be performing a set together! Sounds like GREAT stuff coming up! Stay tuned in for upcoming show details and other news!
