The Pete Flores Band will open for Pink Droyd at Foster Park in Kokomo, Indiana. It will be a great concert. Pink Droyd will have a laser show during the concert and there may be possible fireworks after the show pending on city approval.

The 2012 Kokomo Concert series is shaping up. This year will have a great line up of artists. The Pete Flores Band will share the stage with Ric Emmett of Triumph. Other artists performing are John Waite, the Average White Band, Poco, Blackfoot, Gaslight Anthem, Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band and many more.

The concert will be out doors at the Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion at Foster Park. Event starts at 6pm The concert will be part of the Kokomo Rib Fest. EVENT DATE: June 11, 2011 in Kokomo Indiana

Dreams & Desires was released January 11, 2011. It takes an incredible amount of time and patience to come up with new and fresh ideas for a love song CD album. These type of projects must be carefully put together. The music in itself is probably the most challenging aspect of most CD projects. Some music may come in a dream while other compositions may just pop into your head at the spare of the moment. The same can be said for lyrics. To record a song varies on the feeling. Whether it’s a nice soft mellow song or hard and heavy number. Microphones must be placed in their proper place and amps set at specific volumes and an artist must be in a particular frame of mind to record a song. There is so much preparation and if you are on the clock at a pro studio that makes things even worst because an artist can become nervous and worried about the cost. So, having your own recording studio has it’s benefits by far. In your own studio surroundings you can actually be more creative and take your time to make sure everything sounds exactly the way you want it to sound. It is amazing the things that can happen in the privacy of your very own recording studio. I’m sure most really great songs have been created late at night after a few glasses of wine or in the early stages of a morning when all is quite and the fire has died down. One of the most frustrating things that can happen after a late night of recording is trying different things and listening to what was created the night before and find a bad mistake that will take re-recording that bad part to make it right. And sometimes an artist can just over analyze a song to the point that you might as well trash the song and start all over again. In any case I found that one must accept a creation for what it is and finish it without regrets. It is a piece of art that not all will appreciate for what it is. As long as the artist is happy with it is all that matters. Because what was created came from the heart and soul. Pete Flores
