Rick Heim Bio
Rick started playing 6 string country guitar about the age of 10 years old. At that time living in Festus Mo. At the age of 14 the family move to St Louis where Rick was introduced to Rock music, and the bass guitar. As time went on Rick started several garage and basement bands working on his writing skills, and the new instrument, the bass guitar.
Eventuly Rick started a local copy band called RAZZ which brought JR Richardson in the picture as the 3rd guitarist for Razz. They had the pleasure of being the opening act for Billy Thourpe on his last American tour. Also opening up for the Michael Stanley Band at 6 Flags over MidAmerica. That is the night their drummer became very sick and was hospitalized. Their booking agent made several frantic calls to keep the gig going, and was able to get the drummer from the John Cougar Mellencamp band, Tommy Knowels to sit in with the band that night. Later that night 6 Flags told Rick that was one of the craziest nights they had that year at 6 Flags. Complete success!

JR Richardsons Bio
Sep 1, 2008
Bio For JR Richardson JR Richardson got his first 6-string guitar around 8 or 9 years old. His grand father taught him his first basic open chords. Proudly watching (and laughing) thru his struggles. Then he met up with some of the neighborhood guys, which were jamming, and singing in the basements. He watched, jammed, and learned the Rock n Roll power chords from his friends. There he developed his style, and learned how to sing and play, at the same time. There were a lot of influences in JR's life. Some of which go back as far as, Steppinwolf, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, just to name a few. It's cool having a big brother to introduce you to the early Rock music, said JR. After many, many, mind numbing experiences with the basement and garage bands, it was time for JR to move on to bigger and better things. I put myself on the market looking for a working band, I wanted to be playing the big clubs, he said. After playing and singing in several working bands in St Louis, he met someone else that had the same ideas as he does, Rick Heim. JR joined Rick's band RAZZ, and played the local circuit around the St. Louis area with them, for a few years. Together they achieved a few good gigs as opening acts for such bands as, Billy Thourpe from Australia, and The Michael Stanley Group. As RAZZ ended, JR and Rick ended up being the best of friends, and stayed together working on originals. Doing nothing more than playing in a barn in Licking Missouri. Never really thinking about playing any clubs again. Writing and having fun was at the head of the list, said JR. We liked sitting back, and drinking our beer, and playing for our friends that came over to the barn to party, he said. We would have so much fun banging on the guitars, and partying in the barn, our friends dubbed us, 2 Drunks and A Guitar! As chance would have it, their friends liked their songs so much they would keep saying, "Why don't you guys record these songs, their great everyone would really like this stuff"! JR Richardson, together with Rick Heim, finally broke down and recorded some of their music and now is offering it to everyone else to enjoy. JR just said, "Just watch out for 2 Drunks and a Guitar falling your way"!
