Hi Tammy..wow..I'm really sorry I havnt been on soundclick lately. Ok..let see if we can figure this out. Do you have recorded music already? Like..do you have music that you are trying to upload to this site? Or are you trying to mix in and record new music? like adding vocals to music? Pretty much there are 2 parts 1) recording the music (which isn't done on soundclick) and then 2) uploading the music to soundclick. Windows does contain a recorder..you might want to search under accesories but it will record a .wav file which would have to be converted to mp3. So really..it ends up being an issue of recording software that would allow you to record whats called "multitracking" recording multiple tracks. You could try and search for "free multitrack recording software" and see if anything pops up but otherwise it would cost $$ grrr I know.
