On September 13 1988, deep in Freeport, Grand Bahama, a star was born. Delano Carey aka Mr D.C had music and lyrics running through his mind form the age of five. At age 17 Delano started a movement to help the youths of The Bahamas in all areas. He established a track club called Garden Hills trackers where he was the founder and coach. Due to his love for music, he founded another area in which he used models, singers, rappers, dj’s and dancers that never got the chance to shine. This time calling the programme, ‘The D.C Production’. Becoming a singer was his dream. At the age of 18 he released his first album and he is still striving to the top. Besides being a great singer, Delano is also a motivational speaker, a friend, and a great role model for the young men in our society. He is presently performing at concerts all around The Bahama Islands, and the world singing songs from love to Gospel. Mr D.C is currently working on an album that is scheduled to be released in march 2011 with appearances from various artists.

I think my attributes can be best described as charter, integrity and a great work ethic. Strong negotiation skills are needed in this business along with a solid mind of which I possess both. I have been know to use innovative unconventional avenues to accomplish goals. This new music business is all about connections and relationships, within using both you can achieve the goals of the team.
