Since the arrival of hip-hop, it has birthed a great number of Emcee Legends. Since the arrival of hip-hop, it has birthed a great number of Emcee Legends. Rakim, Kool G Rap, Master Ace, Special Ed, Buck Shot, Method-Man, Jay-Z, Eminem & The Notorious B.I.G. just to name a few. In hip-hop’s newest generation we haven’t been so lucky, hopeful we see a change with hip-hop Emcee E-Legend a.k.a. Mighty Messiah. Born Earl Byam on December 19th, Legend and his younger brother were raised in an all female household in Flatbush Brooklyn. His love for music stems from his grandmothers love for music, Listening to everybody from Marvin Gay to Baris Hammond to Michael Jackson to Soca artist Mighty Sparrow. He always had a love for hip-hop but it wasn’t until he heard Black Moon’s Classic LP “Enter Da Stage” is were he really fell in love with hip-hip. After hearing “How many MC’s, Who got Da props & Buck’em Down the 12 year old emcee wrote his first rhyme. Many years later after being influents by Buck Shot, Method-Man, Biggie and other Emcees he decided to take his love for his music to the next level. In 2005 he started his Very own label Trinity Entertainment and is going to release his first Street album “A Day In The Life Of Mighty Messiah” set to drop early 2009.
