I'm a sad old git who - thanks to my best mate Jim Griffiths - returned to singing and songwriting after too many years away from it. I plucked up the courage to sing a few times at a couple of local folk clubs this summer - showed me I could maybe do it still, but need to learn a LOT more songs and improve my playing. So that's what I'm in the process of doing. Spring 2009 and I aim to fling myself at an unsuspecting world all over again. Married to the world's best woman for 22 years. Two kids - our son's the eldest and nigh on a man now - a real handful and trouble but I love him; our daughter's the sweetest kid - just turned 11, so we get to keep her for a bit longer still. I love and live for combining words with melody. For me the idea of the troubadour is a magnificent, romantic ideal.

Tim my boy, Thanks so much for the listen and comments for 'The Return Home'! How are you making out with your music and the club tour?? Is it promising? You and Jim are a pretty big 'hit' on the CakeWalk forum. Keep it going.. SMB
