Smiles from your soul Current mood: amused I WAS RIDING DOWN THE ROAD ON MY HARLEY TODAY- The sweet smells of the new season wafting through my nose- I could smell the fresh rain drops that were forming and going to fall before me from the clouds above- You know?, that sweet musty smell that speaks volumes to your senses about cleansing you?..... it will be cool and refreshing, but brief. So soon the humidity will return, and envellope your body with a sheen of moisture you can't escape. All that is evil in your body will come from your poors.... It is a purifying feeling- as I flew down that blacktop highway, grabbing 5th gear- loving the freedom, the sound..... all of a sudden I began to laugh out loud- I could smell by body wash from my recent shower.... it smelled sweet and clean- and I had this vision- a pocket of it, that did not rinse from my crevises and my curves. Maybe in the soft indentation just above my forearm on the inside. As the rain drops would saturate me, I would start to "foam" up---- turning into a big pile of bubbles! I would look like the Big White Marshmellowy Bubbled Michelin Man when entering the parking lot of the truck stop I would soon be seeking shelter in!! As I laughed so hard flying down the road, envisioning this, I got passed by a Ford F-350 Super cab. It had 5 hard working men in it- you could see the day's grime, and efforts in their face- they all turn to look at me- I felt the warmth of my hearty laugh coming from my soul- & from my own self amusement, infiltrate all the way into that extended-cab pick-up truck! Although they had no idea what I was laughing at, I realized that when I let that warmth exude from within me- they let theirs' do the same! They all begain to grin, and then laughter escaped each and every one of them!! What a wonderful thing- to think that a moment- just that split second, going down the road at 65 miles per hour- you could effect someone elses phsyche that much! It shows how much of a difference a smile, a bit of warmth, a bit of kindness can make in someone elses world- EVERYDAY. They don't even have to know your thoughts, or your perspective on things- they just need to "feel the good" in you......... So my lesson today, and I hope yours as well, is to bring a little happiness to world each day, no matter how brief- the smile on your face, could just be, someone elses saving grace!!!! AN OLD BLOG- THAT STILL RINGS TRUE Current mood: adored Category: Romance and Relationships WHO ARE YOU? Current mood: contemplative HEART IS HAPPY.... .. LUNCH break moment again! So who are you? Do you bring yourself as an open book, for all to see? Is it like a meal upon a platter spread out for me to consume? Or will you hide in the fringes of shadows, letting me narrowly peak in to see you- to grasp a bits and wisps, with little peaces left behind like crumbs to find later? Do you offer only the best to nibble, to entice my senses? Like a newlywed who only lets the best be seen... leaving all the rest laying in a crouch, to spring up later and pounce on my soul like a sharpe thorne? It will spike me, leave me to bleed? Someone who will eventually plant an evil seed? For I am not that.... I give you always, what you see. There is nothing to hide, nothing to fail your heart, your senses, or pride. I will not cause you to second guess your own judgment, heart, or insight.... I give you me, that is all- as one, as in total completeness......I am far from an ANGEL- I have my demons, my errors, my weakness- but I put it out like a quilt- spread wide with all my colors for you to see. There is no hiding of me- I give you depth, and honesty- You will never question my integrity. I will make you feel safe, you can trust and see,,, there is total commitment in me. I will provide in so many ways- I will never lead your sensibilities astray.... You will know me in all ways. I will present the good, the bad, the weak and the strong..... So all I'm asking is the same of you....... it is not to me you must promise be true- for I do the same for me, not for you..... I must do this for me, to look in the looking glass, and know I like what looks back. There is no time a wasted- for it is short- you only have one go, to make it all fit. To make sure you do yourself right.... so don't make your promises to me- they are only wasted energy,and very empty.... it is for you that you must be true........ and if you have that in your soul, then maybe you deserve me, and I deserve you...... Just some thoughts- maybe you will understand.... Guess I am asking too much!!
