As an avid lover ov practically all things musical i.e playing, production, critique ,singing (though neva in public), A&R , promotions and teaching ..
Im a freelance music journalist / A&R agent at Columbia.I admit openly I get more of a "kick" writing about or introducing (as Id rather it be refered to) unknown artists into the industry,than I do interviewing so-called celebs..
"Da Basement" is da club Im blessed tu have partnership in, where tu be honest I get tu fulfill all my passions for music, from blowing my sax, tu occassionally spinnin on da decks...
We "showcase" fresh local acts , have regular "Hula" nites and have been lucky enough in the last year tu be able tu hold events featuring a couple of well known international artists on our lineup...
