What Matters The Most in your Life? . . . . . .. . . Going through experiences in my life has made me set my priorities and what is most important to me. We should never take anyone in our lives for granted. It is not what you take with you when you leave that matters. It's the realtionships and the memories that you leave behind that matters the most. Please share your thoughts on this subject. What Matters Most in Your Life? Judy~
Do Something Romantic! Valentine's Day thoughts for the Hopeless...
Feb 7, 2011

Valentine's day is not just another day created by the Hallmark Company to sell more cards and chocolates; it's a day where romantics are given the opportunity to do the amazing to prove their love to one another. When men are confronted with being romantic some (not all of them) tend to side with material items and equate love to a price tag. Woman on the other hand prefer more spontaneous and extraordinary moments that they can share with their loved one. So how do we get these two perspectives to meet? Men need to understand that it's not how deep your pocket is, it's how deep your kisses are and how passionate you can be. Forget the expensive dinner, the box of chocolates, and the dozen roses. Take their breath away. Do something out of the norm of daily life. Women love spontaneity; unplanned affection that doesn't have to be scheduled in a blackberry is a good start. The best suggestion is to plan something that doesn't seem as though it's been planned. Make the moment seem spontaneous to them. Bring back the magic of the first date. Woman want to be reminded that you love them but they want that first kiss again that reminds them why they fell in love with you. The best way to describe this is a quote from the film Hitch "Life isn't about how many breaths you take, it's the moments that take your breath away". Women need to understand not to set expectations for Valentine's Day. Setting expectations only ruins the possibility for spontaneity. However, at the same time don't give up the desire to be swept off your feet. Be receptive to men if they probe for information, they are showing interest and are trying to do something special. Don't play hard to get or be obnoxious to get what you want. The more complaints a man hears about being romantic or spontaneous, the more prone he is to reject being them. Don't forget that Valentine's Day is for him as well. A backrub or breakfast in bed is always a nice way to start the day. If the day gets started on the right foot the likelihood for a wonderful evening is increased. Just remember that not all men are romantics and some need inspiration, guidance, or a nudge in the right direction. Sometimes helping them will ultimately help yourself. So there you have it. Men and women should now have a better grasp on what their partners want. The most important thing to remember is to love each other. Love is what brought us all here. So go out there and enjoy life to it's fullest, love for the sake of love, live everyday like there's no tomorrow, and take their breath away.Something to think about....Don't think that if you do something nice for someone, it's enough for a whole month. The truth is that you shouldn't let one day go by without doing an act of kindness for the most important person in your life. Be kind, sweet, and loving to those that mean the world to you. Love is what makes our hearts warm and a better place to live. If you have trouble saying, "I love you" - express it through a song, or dedicate a song that you know will touch your date, spouse, special friend... Many ways to touch hearts that will take their breath away! Impress your sweetheart with your creativity and thoughtfulness. Enjoy your day and tell the people in your life how special they are because we don't know what tomorrow holds. We never want to regret not telling someone after they have passed away. Just a few things to think about that I felt was worth sharing to my special friends here on soundclick. All we need is LOVE!! and to be LOVED!! Enjoy life to the fullest and tell your special friends that you love them. Respectfully Submitted in Love, ~ Judy ~
Write What You Know From Your Heart .....
Feb 7, 2011

I recently received an e-mail from a friend bringing up an idea in the world of songwriting called, "Write What You Know From Your Heart". Thinking along those terms in my mind I just had to share with you my thoughts on this with my own experiences. It took me a while to figure out that the key to my success as a songwriter would be in writing music and lyrics that moved me very deeply. When I wrote what was important or significant to me, I ended up with a product I was very happy with and an experience that moved my listeners. My most successful songs are those where I become the character, I step into the emotions of the singer in creating that piece. I project how I would feel, move, think, and be in the situation I present in the song. That’s quite a vulnerable expression and takes some level of venturesome planning. More than that, it takes a level of honesty, revealing some intimate emotions I might only share with my close friends. But that’s the power of music, isn’t it? It connects us at our deepest fibers where we may be uncomfortable connecting any other way. This is where the idea of ‘Write What You Know From Your Heart' comes into play. It’s the writer who draws from his/her own experiences giving that theme believability. At least that’s how I see it. When I write, lyrics are a very important part of my songs. Relationships are a common theme in my lyrics. That’s not to say that I often write gospel, love songs, jazz, wedding songs, or sad or happy songs, but to say that the themes I tend to know about revolves around personal connection I feel strongly about. It is an extension of what I value in life. In this sense, every song I write is deeply personal. Whether it’s an expression of an actual event, something imagined, or something personal that happened. Another idea is to write what you WANT to know, and soon enough, it'll be what you DO know. Think about your own life and what you hold close to you that is so dear to your heart. What do you know a lot about? If you work a day-job, immerse yourself in hobbies, give your time, money, your resources to organizations you care about, how do those feed into the perspective with which you see the world? Don't be afraid to venture out and try new things because practice in writing skills is what it is all about. Write from the perspective that you see and feel, creating connection from where you are now. Recognizing the extraordinary in the ordinary has sent thousands of songs to the top of the charts – and touching many peoples' hearts and inner souls. God has placed a burden inside of me to minister to those who are hurting through my music. I sincerely hope you find the courage you need to write what you know from your heart. I truly believe that as writers we share the most valuable part of ourselves when we write from a place of true experience. The audience can feel our sincere honesty – just as they can feel us withholding the truth, or holding back. Begin to believe that you don’t need to become someone else to the audience other than who you are now. Write what you know from your heart, because no one knows it better than you. A funny TRUE story that happen to me in High School.

This story is being posted because a dear talented friend of mine name Claes wrote a song in titled "Fall Into Her Arms". You have to go and check him out & the song. He is in my top friends list here. So another friend of mine remember this true story I told him & it was suggested to me that I blog about it so everyone can get a good laugh. LOL!! In High School I had a real wierd encounter with another real good looking guy that was on the football team & he had braces & so did I. The school bell rang for us to switch to our other class. Our lockers were next to one another & we were hurrying to get our books & head to class. We bumped heads & then fell into each other's arms & faces laughing & we both LOCKED BRACES together. Story short COULD NOT GET LOOSE!! There we were looking like we were madly kissing each other - but the truth is our braces were stuck together!! One of the students had to help us & then some other student took our picture which turned out too dark. Yeah!! One person told me that he thought that only happened in movies. If we see each other or one of my class mates see me - they still talk about it. . We did try to kiss pleasant to try and get relaxed in hopes of getting UNLOCKED!!! Did it happen NO!!!! We were locked for quite some time. People were trying to help and you can imagine that? People's hands in our mouth?? Yuck? Germs? Help? But No Thanks!! We both had tears streaming down our face because it was soooo FUNNY. ONE GOOD THING THOUGH - Neither of us had BAD BREATH!!! WhoooooooOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! A Student drawed a picture of us locked together struggling to get loose. A large write up of the story & picture was placed on the guys lockers at football practice! We also found more all over the school bathrooms and this went on for months. THIS WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! At my high school reunion a lady comes up to me and brings this story up to me. A comment was made on facebook about it too from one of the students after our High School reunion in 2010. SoooOOOooo will I ever live this down?? I don't think so!! I hope you enjoyed my story and got a good laugh! PS... Hope this never happens to you! It's quite an adventure I never want to relive. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COMMENT SOMETHING FUNNY OR INTERESTING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU!! LOVE TO HEAR IT!! I'M ALL EARS... Heheheheh.... :)

Dear Judy, How are you? I am myself struggling these days to be musically creative. So there's been a long silence from me but finally I have finished and published here a new song and recording - "Completely you". But I also think Soundclick is less interesting these days; seems not to be in pace with present social media trends. What do you think? I have posted some thoughts on my own page, it would be interesting to hear your comment there. Kind regard/Claes
