Blues has been a part of my life for years. I started to learn how to play blues since 1974 and of course, I’m still learning. I do other things for living but making music is very important part of my life. I’ve been listening the blues the most of my life already when I was just a kid. The very first artists were Bessie Smith and Sonny Boy Williamson II and of course BB King. But something really kicked my ass when I bought the first Hound Dog’s Alligator album back in 1975.
Today it is a good to notice that blues is still alive and there are many fabulous blues guys like Lucky Peterson, Tinsley Ellis and many many others all over the world making good music and performances.
I’ve seen many fabulous blues artists playing here in Lakeside Blues Festival which is great finnish blues festival since 1978.
