"With wonder, may the children see; with joy, may the children hear; with compassion, may the people rise. Film and sound, enjoyed by all. This is my dream." 2010-2020 Jaya Khoobsurat ------------------------------- The silver lining of the future rests with the children of following generations who inherit this planet - already it is becoming tougher to live on this fragile earth.. beauteous, and perfect, but perilously close to being destroyed by human greed, callousness, and profiteering. My goal is to become a positive 'ripple' in the upholding of life on earth... You are welcome to look over my film & music website at: https://jayakhoobsurat.com/ Thank you

Hi Jaya, Shetland Woman here again lol, Half woman half seaweed tehe. I've put 3 songs on my site (just demo quality) which I know will be close to your nature loving heart. These are the first I've put on since I started the board and you were my first friend x. They are The Otters Song, Nameless ( a seagulls heart song) and D Night a Braer which is about the Braer Oil disaster at Sumburgh in Shetland. That one was written by my 74 year old friend Mary Ellen Odie and is my favourite 'eenoo' ( Whalsay for just now) really want you to have a listen as I know you will connect - joy to you as always - Marie

On January 10th, the Governor released the proposed FY 08-09 state budget. We expected it to be difficult but it turned out to be worse than we had thought. The budget proposed to close 48 state parks - that's almost 20 percent - (See the list here), and to reduce lifeguard staffing on 16 state beaches (See the list here). CSPF will be fighting to avoid any park closures at all. Proposals to close 48 of California’s state parks and take lifeguards away from 16 state beaches are out-of-touch with Californians. Join the Save Our State Parks Campaign and help stop these closures of our treasured state parks! California State Parks Foundation http://www.savestateparks.org/ Please visit my page to watch some great videos on this subject, and to learn more about what can be done to STOP the closure of these state parks and beaches. Thank you! Terri
