Emcee Jestoni (Jestoni Garcia) was born in the Philippines on 1987, on the same year when Filipino hiphop is starting to blow (Francis M. , Andrew E., etc.),recently migrated, and a new artist who represent Tondo. By showing his love and respect for the hood, he based his records from his life experience.. He was born and raised in Tondo, a small part of Manila and have the title as the most notorious place in the capital. He start doing music on the age of 10. His older cousin introduce him to BoneThugsnHarmony, and from that, he start to idolize, making up his young mind, wishing….to be like them in the future. And now, his promoting Filipino hiphop in LA . With his bilingual style and foreign rhythm , Emcee Jestoni is trying to be heard, not only by his fellow Filipinos, but anyone who wants to learn from him. He already collaborated with some fil am artist in the US, like GC who just took the whole OC Filipino hiphop community by storm. Carrying the label StreetLifeSymphony, Emcee Jestoni is taking the streets of Tondo to the streets of LA. His now working on his first compilation.. And he know it won’t be easy, but for the reasons of showing love and respect for his hood is enough, to help him reach the top.
