THIS IS WHY PEOPLE WHO DESERVE NO.1 DON'T GET PUT ON THE CHARTS

I'm gonna be very blunt and nasty on this one. I don't usually blog about things most of the time because i just don't meddle in trivial affairs but I couldn't avoid this one. I've just sat here for about 30-40 mins looking through the genres of music and so on and the reason why these real nice artists can never get the credit they deserve by getting no.1 or at least top 10 is because of the dumb a$$es who sit there and post songs or beats whatever have you where they don't belong. Not to mention the idiots who think this mainstream buzz kill nonsense that people seem to think is what's hot right now is always getting rated 5 stars when it only deserves like 3 at the most. Why do some of you post beats and songs that don't match in a different genre. Soundclick admin. neeeds to address this matter thoroughly in order to get this thing handled properly. Cause there's so many artists in so many genres that need to be at that number one spot but can't get there because somebody else has the ordasity to get slick and put their song or whatever in a genre that it doesn't belong in.(i.E. hip hop song in a dirty south genre, beats in a r&b song category). If you make beats put it in the beats category not Rap songs. even if it has a hook to it its still instrumentals because you are selling your beats wih the hopes of someone singing or rapping to it. if you rap don't put your song in r&b if you sing don't put your song in Instrumentals. It's simple mathematics. Not trying to tell anyone what to do with your music or how to run your operation, but why lower your chances in making it to number 1 by competing in a category where all they will do is not vote for you because your song is in the wrong genre. That's all i'm saying, just be smart about your craft. Rock On!!!

As i've grown into this music world in which we now live in, i've learned that now it doesn't even matter if you have talent anymore unless you're being judged by Simon Cowell. And even then You still don't really need talent anymore because for people who look good but can't sing or rap a lick to save their soul they get record deals and etc. quicker than prostitutes get picked up. Why is this industry so A$$ed backwards and why do these execs settle for anything that walks through their door and says the dumbest ...ish on a record but will show the goods or talk about high fashioned material items in a second. Why Are their more materialistic artists and record execs than it is true ones to the music? Is music really in danger of diminishing? Are we to be destroyed by what we've created? and as far as SC is concerned why is it so much B.S. getting promoted at the top of the charts on here. it's like the people who were on top awhile back you don't see hide nor hair of them anymore. They don't get the recognition anymore on here because all these weak emcees and mop and bucket, pots and pan caleco vision beat making producers are taking over the charts so the real musically talented ones hardly get heard anymore. This is not a shot being taken at anyone in particular just in general. We need to really wake up and look at what's going on and do something about this wackness that's spreading like a bubonic plague in this art form we call music.
