I am youth pastor of a small General Baptist church in Indianapolis. Currently this is a part-time job while I work a full-time job in the printing and mailing industry. I felt the call to ministry more than 5 years ago and it was confirmed a couple of years ago when I stopped making excuses and announced my calling to my pastor and the church's youth pastor at the time. At one time I tried my hand at writing songs (the lyrics - I have no musical ability whatsoever) but found it too difficult without have a partner to write the music for it. I believe God gifted me with my writing ability and now I just need to put it to good use.
My passion is for helping people learn more about the love of Jesus, especially young people. Today's youth are faced with some of the same challenges we faced as youth, only on a grander scale and with new ones on top of it.
My ultimate goal is to see God glorified working with others to break down barriers between races, denominations, social classes and anything else that keeps us from working in unity for the common good of all.
