I started off writing at the age of 13 then recording my songs on tape. Then i met up with a cousin of mine and found a partner to rap with even though he was already a part of a group. From that point we countinued rapping up until he left the group and we formed our own group in 2003 and found more members. Then once we built a foundation to start from we started producing tracks and promoting our music on the streets, at school, on the internet, in other areas around where we were from, and from that point we promoted until we were somewhat known as the Footsouljaz. Then in the year of 2007 my father passed in a tragic accident and that same year the group dismembered leaving only Rip Sin "Melvin Cain Jr". After that i really felt that i had to give more to get more so i pushed myself harder. Then i started to recruit more members but the talents i was finding wasn't consistant i needed more so i decided to be patient and wait. In the year of 2008 in january i left for georgia when i settled in i was a part of a group called "DEM NIGGAS" Consisting of J U, Smurf, and myself. That lasted breifly but lyrically wise i grew. When i came back to south carolina in march i had a new mentality. I saw thought and felt different once i was back after all that i had been through. Then i started hearing about myself from others around where i was from. So i started taking it seriously so i started on an actual Mixtape alone. My cousin Big Kev "Kevin Fleming" came by and liked what he heard and wanted more so i burned a copy and took it by his house at about 8 in the morning. The next day he called and told me someone like my music and wanted to help me with it. Once we met we clicked like we knew each other "Kevin Singletary" a promoter and friend. He pointed out the areas i needed help in and then i worked even harder to get better. Once i did he got me in the studio but i felt i wasnt ready. Only because i didnt have copyrights for my music. Now i'm just perfecting my flow working on a bigger smarter project and waiting to drop. In the meantime though i have been working with other artists from around where i am from. I'm working with the artists on mixtapes songs they have written mixing and trying to help them perfect their flow. Some of the mixtapes will be promoted soon. Look For the New Footsouljaz as Well!
