NEW MUSIC: ALIENS ARE TOUGH JUDGES

I am working on a couple of remixes of some 70s songs. I'm not going to give it away, but they are overlooked songs in the remix arena and need to be brought back. I hope that I can do them justice.

I have received some requests to remix my Angel of Death song, which was based on Mozart's last movement of the Requiem Mass. I have begun working on it, but its taking me awhile and I'll probably go back to it after I finish a few more songs. Thanks for the interest though!

For some reason, I had some strong inspiration and wrote 5 new songs, some of which are really experimental and may not appeal to everyone. They are more in line with concepts that I wanted to try and see if they worked. Also, I used some older analog gear, so the drums and synths have a thick tone. Solaris is an interesting take on DNA and replication. The Tweak is just about Tweaking and bringing yourself to the edge. Mushrooms is named that because it has a theme from Super Mario Brothers in it, which inspired me to write it. I hear a lot of Super Mario Remixes, so this is one that strays away, and just hits you with some of the themes and then takes a new angle. Piano Vs. Rezo is just that, a battle between two of my favorite sounds and I wanted to see how they worked together in a battle format.

Still getting some of the kinks out of my newest song, Angel of Death. The hardest part was incorporating the quick string section of the confutatis movement with a 303 bassline that worked. Did it work out, you be the judge? It took me a good month just to get the first section perfect, or closest to it that I can produce. The second section was the beginning of the variation, with some high end string work from my fantom x6, which I resampled through my mpc4000. don't ask me why, I just wanted to see how it worked out. It gives it a hard, clean sound. Third section was hard to transition to, so I did a DJ esque blend with the bassline. As for the samples, just some ideas I got from a movie. I also have a sample free version. I do all of my music in 2 versions, samples and no samples. Fourth section is a departure from the 4 on the floor and I threw in some DnB inspired drum programming on my mpc4000 triggering an RM1x.
