To understand what is OF REALITY BEYOND we must make a leap five years ago at the very beginning.
At first i twas an idea originating from the mind of Martin Poirier who wished to put together a metal band with a unique sound in a metal scene where metal bands sounded oftenly much alike.
After having done several shows, a fan base was established. The band then decided to record a self-produced demo called THE AGE OF COSMIC DISBELIEF which was released in 2005.
OF REALITY BEYOND is now solo project. Martin, the founding member began the colossal task of recording these new songs in his studio (Mythos Studio).
All went well and some of the new songs were put online for everyone to listen. Comments were most flattering. But it was a slow process having to record all of the instruments, re-arranging the songs, mixing and mastering.
So after nearly six months of recording, it all paid off. An indi label from the Netherlands (Zikte-NL) noticed the project and made an offer…
So now begins the adventures of OF REALITY BEYOND. The first official album of the project has been released in June 2009… Welcome to a reality that comes from beyond…

Well, that is good news! Of Reality Beyond will now be part of the Ziekte Records label. The album, wich is not completed yet, will be available through Ziekte Records and The Catacombs CDs here in Canada. There is more to that settlement but details will on line soon. But still, the project will be distributed !!! Ben ça c'est des bonnes nouvelles: Of Reality Beyond va faire partie du label Ziekte Records !!!
