I have been a professional male model now for over 5 years, the moneys not very good but you do get lots of free plus sized clothes. My hobby is writing and recording music hence this website. I sell insurance for a living, at the moment my job is becoming a bit like "Death of a Salesman" or "Glengarry Glenross" so will be looking for something else soon methinks.

New Song Posted-Cowboy Dream(The Ballad of Johnny Cash)
May 22, 2007
Howdy Folks, first blog entry, hopefully there will be many to come. Anyway I have just posted a new song about Johnny Cash. It is an old song of mine but I have never been happy with recordings that I have previously done. You can listen to a particularly lo-fi rendition here- http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=4661598&q=hi I had played the song recently to a few people on an acoustic guitar so I thought it was time to give it a slightly more polished treatment. I have just bought a zoom mrs-802 (which I will probably review in a separate blog entry), a marshal mxl 2001 condenser microphone, and a variax 300 guitar!! I think the results are great but I will be buying a lot of tesco value products for the next couple of months. I think since I originally wrote the song if anything Johnny Cash's legend has grown. This could be partly due to the fact that he died recently but if he hadn't making relevant, challenging and cool music in the decade or so running up to his death then his demise wouldn't have had such an impact. I am particularly fond of the great reintrepritations of all sorts of diverse songs he did on his American recording series. This man could sing a shopping list and it would never be less than compelling. For me some of the covers he recorded have almost erased the originals in my consciousness. I now prefer Johnny's version of "One" and "Desperado" which will probably have some people shouting "heresy!"
