Elyse Haren is a classy, sassy, dark-haired storyteller with an ethereal mystique. She's real, with nothing contrived and she's making music on her own merits. She possesses the soul of an unbridled rocker; untameable, distinctive, and moody. Creating intelligent, unique, addictive and gritty music with something to say, her songs overflows with passion and power, and are underscored with integrity, conviction, and vulnerability.
After college, Elyse fell down the "music" rabbit hole in 2000 at a Fleetwood Mac concert. Captivated by the adrenaline-fueled opening kick drum courtesy of Mick Fleetwood, the unmistakable tone of Lindsay Buckingham's guitar, the blend of vocals, plus the roar of the crowd and the energy behind it, she hasn't looked back since. Engulfed in songwriting, playing guitar, and eventually some piano, bass, and engineering, Elyse was lost and found in the process of creating unforgettable melodies and crafting poetry to express her most honest thoughts. She grabs you with the sheer power of her voice but keeps you there with her intimacy and honesty.
Last summer, Elyse recruited guitarist, Greg Pajer, bass player/songwriter Andrew James and drummer, Blake "The Pulse" Paulson. Meeting at the perfect time where each of them really wanted to the opportunity to play on a full album, the foursome bonded immediately by a love of the music and an unstoppable goal in mind. This mighty bunch is currently almost finished with her debut album
