One fine day in the middle of a sunny afternoon, the ocean parted. magic and mystery took over the land. mandi was born. she was raised in an unstable environment growing up and left home at 15. at the ripe age of 16, in need of a healthy way to cope with life's struggles, mandi had picked up her first guitar and took on a new adventure through a musical atmosphere.
after making it out of high school mandi was accepted to st. lawrence college in kingston, on where she graduated from the 2 year program digital arts for musicians. there she learned how to bend metal with her mind and make a few camera's work. she learned how to create visual music and imagined she was in a submarine diving for gold.
after she parted from d.a.m. the world changed colours and she was accepted to seneca college in toronto, on for independent music production. mandi was at an all time high at this point in her life and music started to take on a different role. she had learned to write and record music until the sun went down and the moon traveled west. she learned how to spread her wings and fly as an independent musician.
when she graduated from i.m.p, mandi was lost and had no clue where to turn. part time jobs were not working out so mandi had to relocate twice during the summer of 2008. she decided to take a break from music and get her computer fixed. currently, mandi is working full time at tim horton's paying off school and working at home independently on her debut ep "fly Away

Hey there Mandi, Thank you for listening to my songs and leaving those nice comments. I went to your artist page and listened to your stuff. You have a different sound. It reminds me of the time I was in San Fransisco CA last year. When you went downtown to the park performers would be singing and playing acoustics. It was a free spirited kinda sound. This music of yours sounds like that. I do not listen to much of the alternative stuff but I like your vision. Your sound is fresh and new. Keep it up.
