An aging rocker who won't give the game away. Now in my 50s I played in a band "Sirrah" in the 70s in which I played lead guitar. After "Sirrah" broke up I got involved in marriage and family and commenced to practice as a lawyer in Sydney, Australia. Still married with 2 kids, Nick who is 24 and Emma who is 21. In the 90s I was involved in my kids' P&C Association. We were organising a "dinner dance" but had no money for a band. I decided to put an ad in the school's newsletter to see if anyone was interested in forming a "pick up" band. Got three replies and the band "Mid Life Crisis" was formed. We stayed together for a number of years before it got too hard for us to all get together to practice. I then decided to go the "one man band" route and scored a regular gig at the Mortdale Hotel in 2000 which I continue to play. The gig is mainly covers but I am gradually throwing a lot more originals in. Had a number of songs that I'd written and decided to get a CD recorded. Found a wonderful guy by the name of Stewart Havill who runs "Sound Dog Recording" and over time was able to record my debut CD "N.I.C" which was released in March, 2006. Tracks from the CD have gained airplay in a number of community radio stations in Australia. Tracks have also been picked up by ichannelmusic.com for its internet station. Have collaborated with artists such as Alexis Van Eeckout and Lex Zaleta and am in the process of recording my second CD as well as a CD of collabs with Lex.

Hi Brian, Just came by to say congratulations on getting your new album "Tortology" out... I wish you pots of luck with it. Three of my favorites for sure are: 1) your co-write with Nigel "Just keep breathing" 2) "Can't stop thinking about you" 3) one of my all time favorites of yours "Holding court in King Street" What great lyrics, and very much a thought provoking track. Thanks so much for including two of our co-writes (and the Radio Caroline intro. of "Two grand wager") That's very novel, and I feel mighty honoured. Carol.

Brian, thanks a million for our fun collaboration on "Give us some time out" ....it's got exactly the kind of "attitude" that I wanted, and is high in the Charts here considering I only added it yesterday. Again, it shows clearly how versatile you are, and I look forward to getting our other co-write when it's finished. Cheers, Carol.x
