Hi Brian,
Just came by to say congratulations on getting your new album "Tortology" out... I wish you pots of luck with it.
Three of my favorites for sure are:
1) your co-write with Nigel "Just keep breathing"
2) "Can't stop thinking about you"
3) one of my all time favorites of yours "Holding court in King Street"
What great lyrics, and very much a thought provoking track.
Thanks so much for including two of our co-writes (and the Radio Caroline intro. of "Two grand wager")
That's very novel, and I feel mighty honoured.
Carol.

Unbelievable! I just sent you a message and then went to my homepage...and there found a message from you!! Is that freaky or what after like months with no contact! Cool though...means we're on the same page somewhere somehow :-))
Glad ya liked the goat romp...and i hope you get over here to visit. Tennessee is about a 12 hour drive from here...but a very scenic one. Where are you mostly? At the new Mix? You like it there? This place is about to get more user friendly and i like all the features here. Anyhow...happy holidays and stay in touch...great to hear from you!

Brian, thanks a million for our fun collaboration on "Give us some time out" ....it's got exactly the kind of "attitude" that I wanted, and is high in the Charts here considering I only added it yesterday.
Again, it shows clearly how versatile you are, and I look forward to getting our other co-write when it's finished.
Cheers,

Hey old friend!! great to hear from ya..Glad to hear all is well. Hope you didn't get in too much trouble when the wife was out of town and unable to ride shotgun over the "aging rocker"...lol.
I have been busy back at the hospital but just left last week to try and "retire" again. With my wife, i'll have to go back to work just to rest up! Busy busy here. Trying to be as self sufficient as possible...the economy here is going down the drain (although here in Appalachia it never really seems to change) Playing more but not recording. How is the new Bose working out? I'll email ya and send some new pics. I posted a whole bunch of animal video clips if ya get bored and need a break at work. www.myspace.com/pinedog
Thanks for the kind words on the White Buffalo video..it was a surprise gift from Nigel Potter. Great guy that Nigel. Take care man and thanks for stoppin' by. This is my only real site anymore.

Hi Brian,
Just added "Come on by" to a station.
Knowing the story behind it makes it a bit of a tear jerker.
What a lovely, moving song it is.
Especially with your other new song "A Paris Tale" over at Imusic, you're showing what a truly versatile writer you are.
That one is a gem in a totally different way, and bringing Rapster in to do a rap in the middle so as to fit all the words in was a classic!
Being about a foiled burglary, the song is so funny.
Is it really based on a true story do you think? LOL!
Vocals superb as usual.
OK looks like you're on a roll so i look forward to the next one.
Will it be the collab on "On the inside" I wonder??
Hugs from the UK my friend,
Carol.

Hi Brian...Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for your kind and supportive words regarding my latest project, Arlington. I did it on a McNally Strumstick, not the banjo. It's a three string instrument with a dulcimer neck (diatonic scale)...i really like the "mountain sound" it has.
WWI was so brutal...people these days don't even give it thought. Millions of casualties and those trenches...mustard gas...man what a nasty horrible experience. Wars are awful.
Good to see you on this site...kinda quiet here compared to the old days at The Mix. If time allows, maybe you could tune up this front page and spend more time here. Are you on another site in a big way? Wonder what Kyle is up to? Any idea? Thanks again for taking the time to drop in on my page and leave such thoughtful comments. You're a great friend for a guy i've never met :-)

Thanks so much for the review...
As mentioned in the forum, I'll try to catchup on everybodies efforts...I'm not good at lending a critical ear as I tend to not pull any punches....I've worked so hard at learning to get the "mixing and recording thing" down, I sometimes forget my own very humble beginings...thanks again...See you on the forum...
