"Another place in time" This song really gathered my attention. In some cases the farming life requires versatility that most people don't require. Verne your memory and knowledge of farming lifestyle in the early years is priceless history to be told. Great songs my friend and keep those hands working for all of us most appreciative listeners to enjoy.

Hello Sir, I just happened on you page here and saw you with your banjo (one of my favorite instruments). I really enjoyed listening to you play and sing! Here in Asheville, NC, we have a weekly summer concert of all the local bluegrass folks and it's really great! It's free too which makes it even better! But anyway, thanks for the songs!

Verne, i just saw the nice comment you left on my blog, thanks for the complement! i'm glad you like my rendition of "Blue KY Girl" it's one of my favorites by lorreta, though the first time i heard it it was emmylou's version, she sings it lovely too.

Sjofn...I too have a hard time navigating Sound Click. I have found that posting songs works if (1) Click on "Account", then (2) go to "Band Administration," to upload songs...that is the way I do it.
You are my favorite as well and always will be...so nice to have your support....Verne

hi verne. i cannot figure out this soundclick for the life of me. what is a station? i can't seem to get my songs onto my site so i gave up. i hope you are doing well. this is a very nice looking page with the colors. you are still my favorite.

On behalf of all the fans here on soundclick. We are all going to dearly miss Verne. This world needed more people just like him with his amazing friendliness, wit, and lyrics. I hope this page continues for many more people such as I. To share his vast memories of living in rural America. Simplicity is something we seemed to have lost in many aspects of our daily lives. But Verne brought it all back the memories only he could tell with his banjo on his lap strumming along. He will be missed.
