I coined the term Jazz Age to describe some of the music that I was listening to back in the late 80's and early 90's that blended Jazz, New Age and Worldbeat. This rework includes a rockin' lead guitar solo and an updated outro section.

The Seventy Eighter gets yet another facelift for a cleaner mix by dialing down the fuzz distortion on the guitar parts. My first stab at a 7/8 time signature back in 2009, with a nod towards 1978 which was about the time I was getting into jazz.

This one is affectionately dedicated to producer, songwriter and keyboard great George Duke who recently passed. His 1977 solo album "Reach For It" had a huge impact on my future musical directions. Rest in peace sweet prince.
