There are 108 Karanas which was mentioned in Natya Sastra and there are 7 different Thandavas which have been performed by Lord Shiva i.e., Ananda Thandava, Sandya Thandava, Kalika Thandava, Vijaya Thandava, Oorthva Thandava, Uma Thandava & Samhara Thandava.
