One Person Band here - unless you consider a computer a "person". I used to be a "Real" Musician long ago - and played with a number of local Bands at the time. Now I'm content - and intrigued - with today's technology and it's possibilities. I still play Guitar and Keyboards - Mainly for Fun and enjoyment - AND the Narcissistic Self Gratification of my "Muse". Isn't Life Wonderful!? Story behind the song
Letting go of someone you Love is never very pretty. It is especially sad because break-ups are nearly always one sided. One desires to split - the other doesn't. They also leave behind a mixture of memories - some good - some not so good. This is the premise of this tune. Like most others, Having been down this road myself, it was written at a time when things looked a bit dim. A bit sad and lamenting. One spirit crying out - trying to resolve the inevitable - yet - even in anguish - there is hope for the future. A new day dawned - and all is well.
