Born and raised in the Boston area of Massachusetts at a very young age Adam Tench had a very creative mind and a knack for writing, a skill which he learned from his older sister. At age 13 he was forced to move to the north side of Dallas TX where he sharpened his ability and was given the name Rage due to his quick temper. In this new territory it did not take long for Rage to become a well known hustler and at the same time gain popularity in the underground poetry circuit. Performing in random Dallas open mic nights hosted at clubs that he could not enter without use of his fake id because of his young age. It was his clever rhyme scheme and hash reality subject matter that attracted the masses, but it was his smooth swagger within his sexual poetry that gained him the most attention, especially amongst the ladies. But as he would say “don’t let the poetry fool you” Rage is just as fierce a rapper as he is a poet with influences such as Nas, Outkast, Mos Def and 2pac. Rage could not help but become a well rounded emcee equipped with conscience lyrics, southern slang with an abstract way of story telling combined with spoken word. With his soulful intelligent delivery about love, oppression, poverty and overall ghetto life Rage Almighty is often compared to Common or Nas with a Texas “twang”. His talent and natural ability for self promotion and marketing brought him lots of attention whether it’s rapping, theater acting, performing spoken word poetry or event hosting. Currently Rage Almighty’s “cosmic crunk” is dominating the Texas mixtape circuit working alongside dj’s such as Dj P-nut, Dj Rpm, Dj G-Rock, Dj 911, and Dj D-real just to name a few. Poetik?
