Story behind the song
Trying to forget her.
Lyrics
Thought that I had made the turn, but my heart will never learn. Cause here I am needing you again. My arms are reaching out, And I know what's coming now. Cause tonight it's worse than it has ever been. (Chorus) So once again, I'll turn to my pillow, but in my mind, I'll be holding you. Once again, I'll feel your body tremble, just like all the lonely nights I loved you through. I fought a damned good fight, And my mind is still all right, I learned to live with what you did to me. You'll be the last to know, That I just can't let go, And sometimes, it just gets the best of me. (Repeat chorus)
