After several years of not picking up an instrument,having persued interests,and,feeling the need to play..Dave went out,bought some equipment,and, "rolled tape" while just practicing and getting "warmed up"..anything and everything..on average of about 20-30 of the tracks below on a daily basis....rapid fire one after another..sometimes a light acoustic trrack,sometimes starting with a bass track,etc,lead track,having no idea it would go any farther that personal and spiritual satisfaction ,privately.... All recordings thought to be held for later review,and,possibly yielding an idea or two in the future,for future work and projects. 90 days later,and well over 2700 passages, a small fraction of which can be found below,all improv,taped as they happened,mostly first take/conception captured...(ala the drum tracks/loops),yielding quite a bit of material,everything from classical pieces,jazz,fusion,heavy,extremely heavy,instrumental and vocal based pieces. Below you will find a selection of various pieces. For simplicities sake,many pieces have been combined,for easier review,into a lighter introduction,with a secondary heavier body following,so take care to watch volume as lighter intro's fade out. A stray note and similar nuance can be occasioally found throughout,but,one must again remember the below are essentially "live" improv takes,track after track capuring random ideas,and were not originally anticipated of yielding any useable material,and upon review,that does not seem to be the case. Dave's Note: These are rough draft private tracks for personal review. They are all improv, played, created and recorded simultaneously.(I literally make 10-20+/- tracks an hour rapid fire when I'm "in the zone").I do not have access to drummers spur of the moment at my beck and call at 4am, etc, so, People ask me what I am working on, drives me crazy I do not have finished product, so, use these to share an idea. Rough but good basis for material. Looking forward to getting full , talented lineup together, expanding the work, production,introducing more copmplex passages, etc,.....and project to move full force....think will be some good,explosive shit.....especially live..
