The Word of Almighty GOD declares in Matthew 16:16-18, that Jesus is "The Christ." "The Son of the living God." And Jesus/Yeshua said, "...On this Rock(Truth) I will build My church, and the gates of Hades(Hell) shall not prevail against it." In other words, Christ Jesus was not talking "facetiously" about physically building a structured building on a rock, He was merely using the word 'rock' as a metaphor to symbolize the solid, unshattering strength of His Word. We, the people of Almighty GOD are the "Church." We do not go to "Church" we are the Church. We, the Church, go to "Hebrews 10:25" assemble together to fellowship and John 4:24 our Heavenly Father, in Jesus/Yeshua's name. Knowing, believing, receiving and implementing the Truth of the Word of Almighty GOD, in your heart and deeds, is the only solid foundation to build upon in a Believer's walk of faith.
