Wonderful song, JazzBro Joe! It is a far piece from beloved Oklahoma to Ancient Egypt...but is it? Along the way, the music traditions of far past and present future have crossed and blended into the likes of GREAT MUSICIANS LIKE JOE HILL and this special song tribute. A perfect song contribution for the CBC Ancient Egypt Song Challenge. Thanks for the music pleasure, and the dl to JBBQ's Best of Best Music Player!

This is definitely the sound of midnight at the oasis - hypnotic, evocative and another unexpected turn for the unfeasibly talented Mr Hill! Bravo Joe!

I really had a good laugh at the image of you belly dancing at the release party :) That aside, you created a pefect little piece of oriental music. Instruments and melodies to perfection and maybe there is a snake belly dancing along somewhere. Super percussion track. Very well played and put together. I love it!
Great atmosphere really adds to the feel on this one. But what I admire most is the restraint here, making it very authentic. Excellent!

Good one my friend, good one!! Your professionality and creativity always impress me! Super!!

Everything is balanced here in such a superb way. It's so minimalistic. Such a positive mood as well. The only thing you have to do here is closing your eyes and let the sounds take you into a trance. Wow!

Fantastic! Very authentic Egyptian sound, kind of mysterious and seductive. I can imagine the dancers and feel the atmosphere. Excellent track :)

I can visualize the belly dancers against a moon lit Egyptian night dancing around the fire and entertaining the wandering desert tribe. Highly visual in nature. You hit it out the ball park. befitted the evening's theme so well as usual Joe.
