Story behind the song
SCEPTER & CROWN is about GOD a.k.a. Emmanuel a.k.a. Jesus the Christ a.k.a. Yeshua the Messiah a.k.a. the Last Adam a.k.a. the Redeemer of Mankind, who was born, died, and rose with all power over Heaven and Earth.
The eagle eyed Prophet Isaiah, according to Isaiah 9:6-7, prophesied Jesus' deity pertaining to His birth and everlasting future dynasty by declaring, "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this."
According to Psalm 2:6-9, King David reveals that GOD The FATHER prophesied this decree on behalf of His Son, Jesus Christ: "I have set My King a.k.a. Jesus, on My holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: GOD The FATHER says to JESUS, "You are My Son. Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You the Nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the Earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potters vessel."
According to Matthew 28:18, Jesus said, "...All authority has been given to Me in Heaven and on Earth."
Revelation 19:16 reveals Jesus is, "...KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."
