Story behind the song
The story of Job in my life. I was able to work with Kathy who is an extraordinary musician and singer. This song is inspired by the same name of Kathy Reynolds composition "Nothing Man Blues" which she generously gave me to add to. If you have not heard Kathy Reynolds (softsong) music you really need to have a listen here: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=2030&content=music&songcount=42&offset=0tPage=2

This one is very special indeed. The spoken vocal is great, your voice Anson is excellent not just in the spoken part but the little singing at the end as well. Now, to the part that impressed me immensely, Kathy did an awesome job on the tracks, they live with or without the vocals, she is very special, I am very impressed with her talent. This is a very impressive collab, one of those that's great as one, but double great as two. My hats off to both of you.

Very airy composition! Love the musical bed for this tale. The tale of Job that spills into shades of Christ on the cross. Tragic, yet poetic and beautiful in it's presentation. Kathy, you did a marvelous job in laying the foundation for this. Anson, the vocals are presented in your fast uprising style. Although I do hear a slight "ssss" in the ping pong delay, the song is stellar! :) Great job!!!
