Obvious is my solo effort, which draws heavily on 80's style epic rock bands like Rush, and Led Zeppelin. It also has some really good rock ballads on it. It is
ABOUT CALIE COX: “Home-grown” in Sacramento, CA, a multi-talent who plays Keyboards, Bass, Lead Guitar, Drums and possesses a truly individual singing style with an incredible vocal range. He founded three original bands: "CRYSTAL SPHERE" at age 16 with Mark Curry; Virgin Records recording artist-to-be and Aaron "El Hefe" Abeyta now the current Lead guitarist & Trumpet player of the world famous punk band "NOFX", next "PIRANHA" from (1985-1989) featuring the original drummer of "Tesla"; Bobby Contreras" and Joel Krueger who is the current Bassist of Frank Hannon's solo project "Kaleidoscope" and finally Calie's first successful Independent project "THE BIG BANG!" between (1989-1995), who had two songs make airplay in "A" and “B” rotations at 93Rock locally in hometown Sacramento,CA. Calie recorded two original albums in the 90's and has two current projects up for sale this year 2008. His solo effort "OBVIOUS" and his latest project "TWO WORLDS" by "THE TEMPLE OF NOW" which has been recorded with friend & Engineer/Keyboardist Dave Baxley.

It is a really good Zeppelin'esque tune, but it has a few minor issues with the vocal cadence. All and all, I still think it is better than most of what I hear these days!
