Greetings everyone, and thank you for visiting my music page on Soundclick. My name is James Stephen Green. Some folks know me by Steve, some know me by James. I'm from Natchez, Mississippi, though I've lived in several different towns over the years. Most recently, I lived in Gulfport, Mississippi, until Hurricane Katrina. I've been involved in music from a very early age. Music has always been an important part of my family. My dad plays music, my grandparents played music, etc. Over the past few years, I've begun to try my hand at writing songs. The songs you'll hear on this site are an example of some I've written. I generally write Country Gospel songs, though I've written a few secular songs as well. Give them a listen, and let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy them. God Bless.

Lyrics
Alone and Blue by James Stephen Green - Copyright © 2005 VERSE 1 Listen, now darling and hear what I say You took my love and you threw it away You left me crying, don't know what I'll do You left me to die here alone and blue. CHORUS 1 Alone and blue, and wasting my time It's just for your sweet love alone that I pine I took it for granted you'd always be true But you left me to die here, alone and blue. VERSE 2 Faster and faster away I now run From your upstairs apartment with my .44 gun You'll not give your sweet love to anyone new I left you to die there alone and blue CHORUS 2 Alone and blue, now I've got to go I'll get over you, dear, in Old Mexico Find a young senorita, who knows, maybe two But the one thing I won't be is alone and blue No, the one thing I won't be is alone and blue.
