Country Pop - Song about having Faith in your loved ones.
I am a 18 year old singer/songwriter. I started writing songs from my experiences only.
Story behind the song
Written for one of my best friends who lost her son.
Lyrics
When you lose someone you love
It’s so hard to breath
It’s like a thousand knives
Puts you down on your knees
My best friend she lost her son
I can’t imagine how she feels
But I bet he’s smiling down
Saying hey mom wipe those tears
Please just have a little faith, keep your head up
Please don’t worry I’m just fine
When you’re sad think of the memories
And how we had amazing times
You are and always will be, my mom, my heart and my best friend
And even though I’m not hear
We’ll be together till the end
Just have a little faith, Oh Oh, Oh Oh, Yea.
When he was a little boy
I remember like yesterday
He would come home all upset
Sit me down and talk away
See that’s what I love so much
The way we talked, the way we’d touch each other’s hearts
If he was here he’d smile at me, telling me how he is free to fly away
Then he’d say
Have a little faith, keep your head up
Please don’t worry I’m just fine
When you’re sad think of the memories
And how we had amazing times
You are and always will be, my mom, my heart and my best friend
And even though I’m not hear
We’ll be together till the end
Just have a little faith, Oh Oh, Oh Oh, Yea.
I’ll have a little faith keep my head up
I won’t worry cause he’s fine
And when I’m sad I’ll think of the memories
And how we had amazing times
He is and always will be, my son, my heart and my best friend
And even though he’s not hear
We’ll be together till the end
I’ll have a little faith, faith, faith
I’ll have a little faith
Yea
