Gospel Reggae Drum n Bass Roen (pronounced as Roon) is a Dutch singer-songwriter born in the 80's, he got his nickname Roen from his little sisters that could not say his full name Jeroen when they were young, and the name stuck. After having went through hard times of addiction and being homeless as a young adult, he found faith in Christ and he got back on his feet, having been a musician since childhood with influences from Dutch bands like Doe Maar and a general interest in reggae music...

Introvert creative loner started out making making 'music' at first to accompany video shorts i made with sounds (and soundtrack) all very experimental and intuitive but gradually turned my creative focus on the songwriting and learning to play instruments to have sound to accompany the lyrics but since the songs just remained there because i have a aversion of performing i decided to learn how to record and am still learning on all facets of the creative process
