My band is my own personal project. Some of these songs are old and just demos of old ideas of the last 6 years. My newer songs are more concrete and better quality. Have a listen. 'I love Los Angeles. I love Hollywood. They're beautiful. Everybody's plastic, but I love plastic. I want to be plastic.' -Andy Warhol

Hi, My name is Michael A. and I am a solo musician on San Antonio, Texas. I have won a few awards as a guitarist, including Best Acoustic Guitarist in San Antonio in '95 and '97 and Best Electric Guitarist in '82. I have played with some high profile punk bands and alot of local Metal acts, a Flamenco Jazz band and some variety bands. Currently I write music in the hopes of selling them ( with a proper contract, of course!).

Wes Hollywood has a new album out and it's Dynamite. Imagine Ray Davies and Elvis Costello having a punch-up in the front row of a Cheap Trick concert! Explosive Midwestern Power Pop steeped in 60's British Invasion and 70's New Wave. You might even hear traces of The Cars, Bram Tchaikovsky, The Plimsouls or John Lennon but I will leave that up to your ears.

songwriter-singer It's about the songs. I'm not so much a singer-songwriter as a songwriter-singer. I do not fit into a genre. The genre fits the song. They range from rock to country ditties, from standard lounge ballads to power pop, from blue-eyed r&b to country rock. I sing almost all the vocals and play almost all the music (mostly on keyboard) but, as I said, it's about the songs.

Dollar Bill, Matt and a whole lot of instruments and vocals!
