An adult contemporary band, with influences derived from classic and progressive rock, pop, jazz, and even classical. 'Intermezzo' is what I call 'my band' (really just me, some friends who can sing -- because I sure can't -- and some MIDI equipment). It is my vehicle for demonstrating my material. Novelist and musician Mike Goble is a guy who likes books and movies, particularly science fiction and fantasy. He's also a big fan of classic rock music. Mike grew up in Utah during the '80s and '90s, when things were awesome, rad, and sweet. He is the self-proclaimed founder, president, and sole member of the Society for Unpopular Nostalgia. He has a day job as a cytotechnologist, and lives near Fort Worth, Texas with his wife and five children.
